You will have a relevant honours degree and experience of teaching policing from a criminological, professional policing or legal perspective coupled with experience of teaching on Criminology and / or Criminal Justice undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. An excellent research profile and the ability to achieve research objectives are key to this role as are enthusiasm and passion for your subject and the ability to network externally with policing stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, time and workload management skills and a strong commitment to the welfare and success of students will be key to your success in this stimulating department.
About the Role
The post arises from our wish to strengthen and further develop our research and teaching capacity to support the delivery of our new undergraduate degree in Policing and our expanding Criminology provision. You will provide expert teaching in a variety of modes, including lectures, seminars, tutorials, and online interaction, and facilitate student work in a range of different media.
