Applications for fellowships to attend the ESC Annual Meeting

Every year the ESC awards up to five fellowships to attend the Annual Meeting of the Society. Applicants must be based in the European countries that do not belong to the European Union (EU) or the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), and priority is given to postgraduate or early stage researchers. The eligibility criteria and the procedure for the selection of fellowship winners are set out on the ESC website:http://www.esc-eurocrim.org/index.php/activities/fellowships. Nominations for these fellowships must be received by 31 March 2023.

Given the exceptional and dramatic circumstances created by the Ukraine’s war, since 2022 the ESC is awarding additional fellowships to colleagues from the region affected by the conflict. The rules are the same as those of the regular fellowships (see the previous paragraph).

ESC Awards

The ESC awards annually up to six scholarly awards. Eligibility criteria and procedures for the selection of the award winners are set out on the ESC website: http://www.esc-eurocrim.org/index.php/activities/awards. Nominations for (1) the ESC European Criminology Award, (2) the ESC Young Criminologist Award, (3) the ESC Early Career Award, and (4) the ESC Book Award must be received by 31 March 2023.
