UNIL Summer School

The UNIL Summer School works to bring together doctoral students of the Université de Lausanne with students from other universities which provide doctoral degrees in forensic science or criminology for a short, cross-disciplinary session filled with opportunities to learn new information, practice their communication skills, and gain new skills which will facilitate personal and career growth. The aim of the program is to assist PhD students in developing the skills needed to successfully conduct their research and to prepare them for their professional career, as well as allowing them to build their professional and peer-support network. These objectives are achieved by offering specialized workshops and activities promoting active participation, engagement, and opportunities to improve.

Invited speakers will give talks about their areas of expertise and students will meet with career professionals, participate in workshops, share their research and additional activities will also be offered. The event will take place from Monday, August 28th to Thursday, Augist 31st 2023, at the Victorial Hotel and Residence, Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland. Abstracts should be submitted by May 19th here.

A limited number of scholarships will be awarded to foreign students to cover the costs of lodging.
